The coffee bean with the names "Blue Rock" comes from the mountains of Espírito Santo, specifically from the municipality of Domingos Martins, where the Pedra Azul peak is located. The Arabica coffee variety Caturra finds the best conditions for a unique scent, aroma and taste profile in this combination of altitude and microclimate.
It also undergoes a special treatment. This production method, called "semi washed" or "naturally processed", involves grinding the coffee cherries while wet and then drying them while the cherry's mucilage is still intact. This process is popular in Brazil and results in coffees with excellent sweetness and balanced body.
